surrelmo 11/1/26 7:57 peninsula of insight: despite being rough around the edges, i love how we are able to make 2 simple colourings and make them into something tangible in terms of puzzle solving. there are puzzles that are inconsistent in difficulty and how it's played out, especially at level 17 and 19. however, once you understood all of it it's just a straight up freebie. hardest levels: 14, 12 easiest levels: 6, 2 favourite levels: 16, 7, 20 least favourite level: 15 (for all of the wrong reasons imaginable) 7/10

7jh 23/1/26 20:32 It's a very balanced puzzle, it has both an easy difficulty and hard difficulty almost making it perfect but I'm not a big fan of the final answer being put directly in the page considering that it has a rate limit of 1 hour and 3 tries unless that got changed and I didn't notice. 8/10

Picklemaniac 31/1/26 11:22 Extremely well-made weekly. The visuals were super nice and the cutscenes were fun & well-made. A lot of passion went into this, and many of the puzzles are well done. That said, it is a little long for a weekly. Still, if there is ever a "director's cut" of this puzzle loose from the weeklies, I'd be sure to complete that as well :)

NuLL 3/2/26 4:42 Short and sweet, I like how minimalist it is using only the URL and the existence of pages as confirmers. My favorite levels are 3, and 9. Putting 19k was a very nice trick whilst still being correct, felt nice to have not fallen for that. 9 stumped me for quite a bit, but when i realized why it started with c and mentioned octothorpe, that's when it clicked! Those kinds of realizations always feel good!

surrelmo 4/2/26 8:47 ++ okay, the way to solve the puzzles here is very clever, even made me impressed somewhat. this weekly has you to do a lot of research and throwing shit to see what works, and while that does work half the time, it would be worth actually giving some more information before going through the entire puzzle. puzzles like level 5 and 6 got me stumped, especially when the address here is very vague. i do want to compliment though, the absolute minimalistic-ness of the entire weekly, despite being blinding to my eyes. it's very creative, i love it. easiest level: 2 hardest levels: 3, 5, 6 favourite level: 7, 1, 4 least favourite level: 5 8/10

Cons: -The flavor text, as written, seems designed to help players who know the cipher beforehand, but are sometimes useless or misleading for people who need to Google it. Some levels I feel would have been easier without them. -Extraction step felt artificially inflated. Perhaps some levels could have encoded a shorter phrase rather than a complete sentence? -Level 6 (RGB channels) - The channels could have used more legible letters. Half the players I spoke to could not easily discern the letters even knowing the exact method. Consider not obfuscating confirmers when not necessary to obfuscate the method. -Level C (Piet code) - (Pi, e, Tau) -> Piet is schizo, and getting the compiler to compile is surprisingly tedious.

dchiu 28/2/26 6:58 Would love to see more spatial reasoning puzzles like these in future weeklies. There were a couple directions that were incorrect or ambiguous (Tidepools "southeast" of Valentine's, turn at the 4th pool, "left side of map"). Would have liked to see these cleaned up: the map confirmers in the weekly are weak enough as is that a false assumption can easily send players to the opposite side of the overworld map, which takes valuable time. Mango Mesa is arguably the biggest offender. Easy weekly, fun overall. Some better quality of life would been nice. :3

Ronald_D_D 16/3/26 9:38 Very good weekly however I didn't enjoy the tedious grid parts of it. Like one could just provide some completed grid but that would have made it easier I guess? Others may have enjoyed it a lot and I respect that but it's not my cup of tea. Thanks for making them more streamlined to solve though! It was still fun to drag and drop the pieces or fill in the grids on the pages themselves than to copy everything into a document or image editor! All things considered it's a great one to end the season at.
